By hope from america, i mean hopes from a young college student distracted by politics at 3 am in the morning T_T

Rishi Sunak has been named as the U.K.’s new prime minister and the country’s first leader of color.

On account of an American perspective on the recent "election" of Current Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, there is a lot to be said about his capability. Especially considering the crisis of the UK since the epic cataclysmic economic explosion caused by what the financial times now labels as "trussonomics" T_T
However, considering Sunak's history as a confident, practical and active leader in cases of economic crisis, there is some hope for him from across the sea in his potential to help repair the UK's economic failures as well as the failures of the conservative party to the people. With the underlying issues that linger with the pandemic as well as Putin's attack on Ukraine, there's is a definite need for a strong and able leader to champion the UK out of it's current crisis. Though it inspires me to see the first Non white Prime Minister of the UK in my life time, it is a great hope of all of Europe I would like to say and the global economy, that the UK recover surely and swiftly for the sake of it's people and it's nation.
For now however we can only wait and see it's progress
(I am still learning and my opinion may not really reflect the situation in the UK as well as I may think, if my perceptions changes there will be follow up passages, but feel free to critique my stance anytime)
